Asaan Karobar Finance 2026: Up to Rs 3 Crore Loan, Eligibility & Apply Online

What is the CM E-Bike Scheme?

The Chief Minister’s E-Bike Scheme is a Government of Punjab initiative, delivered through the Transport & Mass Transit Department in partnership with the Bank of Punjab (financing) and the Punjab Information Technology Board (computerized balloting). It helps eligible Punjab students get an electric motorcycle or scooty on an interest-free installment plan, rather than students paying market price upfront.

Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz chaired a review meeting on 2 September 2026 and announced a significantly larger and more generous phase: over 125,000 e-bikes, with students paying zero down payment and roughly Rs. 3,000 a month, while the province covers the interest and insurance. Applications opened online on 4 September 2026.

Earlier phases of this scheme (2025 and early 2026) required an upfront down payment, so if you saw older information describing a required down payment, that’s now outdated for the new application window students applying now should confirm current terms directly on the portal, since final published guidelines can add detail the initial announcement didn’t cover.

The Asaan Karobar Card (up to Rs 1 million) is for shops and startups. But what if you’re past that — a running factory, a growing distributor, a business that needs serious capital? That’s what Asaan Karobar Finance is for: up to Rs 3 crore for larger enterprises. Same family, bigger league. Here’s how it works.

Card vs Finance — pick your tier

This guide covers the Finance tier. If your need is under Rs 1 million, the Card guide is the right one for you.

Who is it for?

  • Running businesses in Punjab looking to expand — new machinery, bigger premises, working capital at scale.
  • Valid CNIC, Punjab domicile/business registration.
  • Documented business history helps enormously at this tier — bank statements, tax records, existing turnover. Rs 3 crore doesn’t go out on a one-page idea.

How to apply

  1. Go to the official portal: akf.punjab.gov.pk. Only this site.
  2. Register and describe your enterprise — nature of business, years in operation, current turnover.
  3. State the loan’s purpose precisely: what it buys, what it earns. At this tier, a proper business plan isn’t optional — it’s the application.
  4. Upload: CNIC, business registration, bank statements, tax records, and financials as requested.
  5. Stuck? Call the helpline: 1786.

What separates approved from rejected

  • Numbers, not adjectives: “Rs 2.4 crore annual turnover, growing 18%/year” beats “successful growing business” every time.
  • The money’s job: tie every rupee to revenue — new machines → X more units → Y more revenue. Lenders fund arithmetic, not ambition.
  • Repayment logic: show how the business services the loan from cash flow. If you can’t explain repayment, you’re not ready for the amount.

Stay safe

At these amounts, “loan consultants” get aggressive — charging lakhs for “guaranteed approval.” No consultant can guarantee a government loan decision. Pay for professional help with your business plan if you need it, but never pay for promised approval.
