About & Editorial Standards

CM E-Bike Scheme is an independent information website. It is not operated by the Government of Punjab, the Government of Pakistan, the Bank of Punjab or any transport authority. We help students, teachers and families understand public e-bike programmes and reach the correct official services.

Our purpose

Government programme information is often spread across announcements, portal screens and departmental pages. We organise those sources into plain-language eligibility, application, financing and safety guides. Applications, payments and status checks must always be completed through the responsible government or bank service.

Editorial standards

  • Official sources first: we prefer government portals, department documents, public notices and participating-bank information.
  • Phase and date labels: scheme figures are tied to the phase and the date on which they were checked.
  • Confirmed facts and open questions: when sources conflict or a portal has not published a detail, we say so rather than presenting an estimate as settled fact.
  • No application credentials: this website does not ask visitors to submit CNICs, passwords, payment information or application credentials.
  • Corrections: material errors are corrected when reliable evidence is received, with the verification date updated where appropriate.

How articles are reviewed

Each scheme guide should show a publication or review date, link to the most relevant official destination and distinguish earlier-phase rules from current guidance. Financial examples explain their assumptions and are not bank quotations.

Official application route

Use bikes.punjab.gov.pk for the Punjab e-bike application service. If a link or page asks for an unofficial fee or promises ballot influence, leave it and verify the address independently.
