We explain the program in plain language. Admissions are handled only through official TEVTA channels listed below. We never collect CNICs, documents, payments, or credentials.
A degree gets you interviews; a skill gets you paid. TEVTA (Technical Education & Vocational Training Authority) runs free technical courses across Punjab — electrician, welding, computer operator, beautician, tailoring, HVAC, and dozens more. If you want a skill that pays within months, not years, start here.
What TEVTA offers
- Free short courses (typically 3–6 months) in trades and technical skills.
- Courses run at TEVTA institutes across Punjab — nearly every district has one.
- Certificates recognized by employers across Pakistan and the Gulf.
- Many courses include stipends or toolkits (announced per batch).
Popular courses (high demand)
- Electrician & solar technician
- Computer operator / IT basics
- Welding & fabrication
- Beautician & hairdressing
- Tailoring & fashion designing
- AC/refrigeration (HVAC) technician
- Plumbing, auto mechanic, mobile repairing
Who can join?
- Punjab residents, typically matric pass (some courses accept middle pass).
- Age criteria vary by course — check the admission notice.
- Both male and female institutes/courses available.
How to get admission
- Find your nearest TEVTA institute — visit in person or check the official TEVTA Punjab channels for the admission schedule.
- Admissions open in batches — there are announced intakes, not rolling admissions. Missing an intake means waiting for the next.
- Apply with CNIC/B-Form, educational certificates, and photographs.
- Some popular courses have entry tests or interviews — prepare accordingly.
Pick the right course (honest advice)
- Follow local demand, not trends: an electrician in a growing housing society earns more than a graphic designer with no clients.
- Gulf angle: welding, HVAC, and electrician certificates are valued in Gulf hiring — if overseas work is your goal, pick accordingly.
- Finish it: half-done courses earn nothing. TEVTA certificates only matter if you complete and can demonstrate the skill.
Stay safe
TEVTA admissions are free or carry only nominal official fees. “Agents” selling guaranteed admission to popular courses are scamming you — merit/test-based selection can’t be bought.
