Apni Zameen Apna Ghar 2026: Free 3 Marla Plot Scheme, Eligibility & Apply Online

What is the CM E-Bike Scheme?

The Chief Minister’s E-Bike Scheme is a Government of Punjab initiative, delivered through the Transport & Mass Transit Department in partnership with the Bank of Punjab (financing) and the Punjab Information Technology Board (computerized balloting). It helps eligible Punjab students get an electric motorcycle or scooty on an interest-free installment plan, rather than students paying market price upfront.

Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz chaired a review meeting on 2 September 2026 and announced a significantly larger and more generous phase: over 125,000 e-bikes, with students paying zero down payment and roughly Rs. 3,000 a month, while the province covers the interest and insurance. Applications opened online on 4 September 2026.

Earlier phases of this scheme (2025 and early 2026) required an upfront down payment, so if you saw older information describing a required down payment, that’s now outdated for the new application window students applying now should confirm current terms directly on the portal, since final published guidelines can add detail the initial announcement didn’t cover.

For a landless family, everything starts with a plot — without land, even the Apni Chhat housing loan can’t help you (it needs a plot you already own). Apni Zameen Apna Ghar fills exactly that gap: free 3-marla residential plots for landless deserving families. Phase 1 covers 19 districts. Here’s who qualifies and how it works.

What you get

  • A free 3-marla residential plot — ownership transferred to the qualifying family.
  • Phase 1: 19 districts — check the official portal for whether your district is included in the current phase.
  • Pairs naturally with Apni Chhat Apna Ghar (the interest-free construction loan) — plot from this scheme, construction loan from that one. That’s the full path from landless to homeowner.

Who is eligible?

  • Landless family — no residential plot or house in the applicant’s name (this is verified through land records).
  • Punjab domicile, valid CNIC.
  • Deserving/low-income household criteria as announced on the official portal.
  • District must be in the active phase.

The landless requirement is checked against official records — if anyone in the immediate household owns residential property, the application won’t survive verification.

How to apply online

  1. Go to the official portal: azag.punjab.gov.pk. Only this site.
  2. Register with your CNIC and mobile number.
  3. Fill in household details honestly — family size, income, current residence (rented/joint family).
  4. Submit and save your tracking number.
  5. Selection is through balloting among verified eligible applicants.

After selection

Allotment follows verification and balloting. Plot locations are in designated schemes/colonies — you don’t get to pick your street. Transfer formalities are completed through the official process; never pay anyone for “priority allotment” or “better location.”

Stay safe

Plot schemes are scam magnets: fake allotment letters, “booking fees” for free plots, agents selling the same plot to five families. Remember — the plot is FREE, allotment is through balloting, and every step happens on the official portal. Money changing hands anywhere in this process means fraud.
